Sadie Reitz, MEd
Sadie Reitz has several years of experience in project and program management. She has served as a training specialist for the Washington State Department of Health in pandemic response and for the University of Washington as a program manager on several tuberculosis research training grants. Sadie is also an accomplished educator - having mostly taught math, science, computer science, and social/emotional development. She was an early adopter of teaching coding in the classroom with unique projects like BBC Micro:Bit. She prioritized combining environmental education and collaborations with students’ parents working in tech to bring hands-on computational thinking to the classroom. Sadie is currently leveraging her collective skills as the Graduate Program Advisor for the UW Department of Microbiology. She holds a Master of Education from Plymouth State University, Certificate in Project Management from University of Washington, and Washington State Teaching Certificate from University of Washington, Bothell. Sadie enjoys spending time with family and friends, outside if possible, caring for her cats, and strengthening her skills as a photographer.
