Our research focuses on molecular mechanisms regulating RNA translation and stability. We use genetic screening and computational modeling approaches to understand the RNA motifs and cellular pathways regulating RNA biology in human cells. Recent studies in the lab have elucidated roles for ribosome collisions and nascent peptide structure in regulating RNA stability.
