What is Lavender Graduation?
Lavender Graduation is an annual recognition event conducted on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning students, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the University.

Our Celebration
Graduates, friends, family, and other members of the UW community are warmly invited to the UW Atmospheric Sciences 2024 Graduation Celebration on Friday, June 7, 2024. The ceremony is expected to last about two hours and will be followed by a reception with light refreshments for about one hour at the courtyard outside Johnson Hall and ATG. This will recognize UW undergraduate and graduate students who have or will earn a BS, MS, and PhD in Atmospheric Sciences in autumn 2023, winter 2024, spring 2024, or summer 2024.

The Black Graduation Ceremony is a pre-commencement celebration to honor African and African American students who through unyielding determination have successfully completed an undergraduate or graduate degree from the University of Washington. The Ceremony is representative of African and African American culture and heritage, embraces the value of community and scholarship, and culminates with a Kente Stole presentation.
The Department of French & Italian Studies would like to invite all graduating French majors, Italian Minors, and Master's students to our 2024 departmental graduation ceremony. We invite all students who have graduated or will graduate for the following quarters:

This will recognize UW undergraduates who have or will earn a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Marine Biology in autumn 2023, winter 2024, spring 2024 or summer 2024.
