Spring 2024 Convocation with Reception to follow in Denny Hall 359
Invitation-only departmental celebration of our students. The ceremony will be followed by a reception in the Jones Playhouse lobby.
The UW Law School Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for June 3 at Alaska Airlines Arena from noon to 2pm. The ceremony will be livestreamed as well.
We will be hosting a reception at the Law School on Sunday, June 2 for students and their guests.

Congratulations - you're a graduate! We know all graduates put in years of hard work to get this point and that this class has been through the extraordinary challenge of having classes online, in person, back online, and back in person again - and through all the changes, you made friends, succeeded in class, and left your mark on this campus and our department. To honor you and the other 2024 American Indian Studies majors, we will be hosting a luncheon at wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ - Intellectual House on Friday, June 7th, 2024. The luncheon will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Our recognition ceremony is an important tradition in our department. Participation in the SPHSC Recognition Ceremony is not required, but it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many accomplishments of our department’s graduating students. There will be speakers, awards, a procession, and a special slideshow for each cohort!
Doors open at 5:00 pm; all graduates must be on the arena floor by 5:30 pm
Classmates, family and friends are invited to join us in formally recognizing the members of the graduating class of 2024. During the celebration, we will distribute souvenir diplomas to our bachelor’s and master’s graduates, conduct the traditional hooding ceremony to honor our Ph.D. graduates, honor alumni who are using their Allen School education to change the world, and recognize our award recipients for their academic excellence, leadership and service.
