On Campus Event - special event parking rules apply

If you wish to park on campus, parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 1st to May 19, 2024. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.

2024 Psychology Department Hooding Ceremony

The Hooding Ceremony is a small, personal event for students who completed their Ph.D. program during the previous year, or plan to finish during the upcoming summer quarter. It is an informal event at which students, their families and their advisors celebrate this momentous transition. Faculty advisors share their most vivid memories of the student. Students recount their adventures of graduate school and have the opportunity to recognize those individuals who provided emotional and intellectual support during their training. The hooding festivities continue with a no-host brunch.

RSVPs for the Physics Department Graduation Celebration is now closed.

The Physics Department holds an annual Graduation Celebration for their students who graduated between autumn 2023 – summer 2024 with UW-Seattle Physics bachelor’s, professional master’s, or doctoral degrees.

We hope you will join us in celebrating the tremendous accomplishments of the class of 2024! SOP Graduate Recognition Ceremony

This ceremony is our unique opportunity to recognize graduate and professional students completing any of the following degrees this year: PharmD, MS in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs, and MS/PhD in Health Economics & Outcomes Research, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or Pharmacy. 

Doors 2:30 p.m.
Pre-Ceremony Slideshow: 3:00 p.m.
Ceremony: 3:30 p.m.
Reception: 5:00-6:00 p.m.

The ceremony will be livestreamed for family and friends via YouTube.

Jackson School Spring Convocation is our departmental graduation ceremony, honoring the achievement of our students. We invite all students who have graduated, applied to graduate, or will apply to graduate for the following quarters:

  •   Spring 2024 
  •   Summer 2024

Undergraduate* - apply to graduate in the summer quarter by Friday, April 12, 2024.
