Welcome to CERSE, Rae Jing Han!
We are beyond thrilled to welcome Rae Jing Han to the CERSE team as a research scientist. Rae joined us in September 2023 and brings valuable knowledge, skills, and experience to our work.
Prior to joining CERSE, Rae was an education specialist at EarthGen. They earned a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Human Development, an M.Ed. in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum (Culturally Sustaining Education), and a Certificate in Education, Equity, and Society from University of Washington. Rae also holds a B.S. in Psychology from Yale University. Rae’s work has focused on cultivating culturally sustaining, liberatory, and justice-centered forms of environmental and climate education. They are passionate about the intersections of identity, emotionality, arts and storytelling, and sociopolitical consciousness.
