Due to changes in our course scheduling (more details on MS courses to be announced in the coming months) and student preferences, we will no longer be running our Quantitative Fundamentals certificate program as a summer intensive. Students beginning the program in Winter 2017 will not be affected by these changes.
Beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year, the QF certificate will start in the regular autumn quarter, simultaneously with the Computational Finance certificate and the CFRM MS program, and will run as a 12-credit, four-course sequence instead of the current 11-credit, three-course program.
Additionally, our pre-program courses in September will no longer be offered. The R Programming for Quantitative Finance course will be offered during the 2017 summer B term instead, and a revised version of CFRM 540 will launch for summer 2018.
