We are getting reports of printing and copying being down across campus. We are investigating the cause and will update this post once we learn more.
All services should be online and available. If you are experiencing problems please restart the equipment. If the problem persists, please contact Dawg Prints Support at uwcshelp@uw.edu
Blackboard is still applying the patch. No ETA at the is time. I will update this page when more information is available.
Starting at around 2pm today and lasting for approximately 1 hour, Blackboard, the online transactions software used by Housing and Food Services, will be installing a fix on their system.
What this means:
Copying and Printing can continue to function as usual until the $5 off-line threshold allowed on each account isĀ reached.
Any off-line transactions will ‘catch up’ with the account once Blackboard comes back online.
The add-value/purchase function for Husky and Dawg Prints Cards will be down for the duration.
UPDATE: HFS has informed us that all their servers are now up and running normally. If you continue to experience issues please restart your device.
Thank you for your patience.
We have successfully completed our update of the Dawg Prints servers. All Dawg Prints services should up and running. If you experience any issues please email Dawg Prints Support at uwcshelp@u.washington.edu.
We have begun our upgrade of the Dawg Prints servers. Print and copy services will be unavailable until further notice.
This weekend, starting after 500 PM on Friday, June 11, we will be upgrading our servers. During this time printing and copying services will be unavailable. We anticipate that the upgrade will be finished by Sunday afternoon, however, services may remain unavailable until Monday morning. This upgrade is meant to stabilize our backend server components. Client components (popups on lab and personal computers) will not be affected. Users should not experience any changes after the upgrade is complete. For any questions or concerns please email Dawg Prints Support at uwcshelp@u.washington.edu.
HFS is aware of the issue and they are currently working on it. It’s unclear how long services will be down but I’ll post an update as soon as I hear something new.
