We’ve been notified by the Husky Card office that they are having some intermittent issues with their servers. As a result you might see some issues with transactions for printing, copying, and the add value stations. We will update once we have more information.
UPDATE: HFS has informed us that their servers are now fully operational and all systems should now be operating normally.
We are experiencing some intermittent issues this morning with our two print servers. We are attempting to find the cause, but currently don’t expect to have any further interruptions. If you do experience outages for longer than 10 minutes please email uwcshelp@u.washington.edu.
We will be doing some maintenance on the Dawg Prints servers tonight between 1000 PM and 1100 PM. There is a small possibility that services will be interrupted for no longer than 5 minutes during that time .
Unscheduled maintenance will be performed tonight between midnight and 4am. During this period all services will be available except a brief 3-5 minute outage.
The HFS system has been up and running for at least an hour and they consider it to be stable at this time. We will update this blog if any further issues occur.
HFS is currently working on this issue. At this point we do not know what’s going on. We will continue to update this page as we get more information.
All Dawg Prints services have been restored. Please let us know if you continue to have print or copy related issues.
It appears that the problem has been narrowed down to a hardware issue with the HFS servers. At this time Husky Card services, including printing, are still down. HFS has not given a time frame as to when they will be able to resolve the problem. We will update this post once we learn more.

The network at Housing and Food Services is down causing printing to fail when a card is swiped. UW Tech and Net Ops are working on the issue. No word as to when the issue will be resolved. I’ll update this page as soon as I hear more.
