Dawg Prints Library print server is experiencing a temporary outage. All services should be restored in less than 5 minutes.
We were able to temporarily fix our card dispensers by removing the $0.20 transaction fee. Once HFS’s database is fully operational again, we will reinstate the $.20 transaction fee for purchasing new cards.
We are currently experiencing an issue with our card dispensers. You will receive an error message stating “Card Purchases Currently Not Available” when purchasing a new Dawg Prints card. This issue has been reported to Housing and Food Services. All other services are functioning normally.
We are now shutting down servers in preparation for electrical work being done in our server room. All services, including copying, printing, and email support, will be down for approximately 1 to 2 hours.
UPDATE: Electrical work has been finished and servers are now being brought back online. Services should resume in 5 minutes. Please email uwcshelp@u.washington.edu if you encounter any problems.

Facilities Services is scheduled to perform essential electrical work on the Publications Service building on Saturday, February 13th between 600am and 1000am. This work will affect all Dawg Prints servers and as a result no printing or copying will be available during this time. We anticipate the outage to begin around 530am in preparation for the work and will last no more than 2 hours. We will update this blog during with our progress during this downtime. Registers are back online. The root cause of the issue has been
identified, we are working with the vendor on the resolution.
