Canno 5K

Take a paws, because we’re letting the dogs out! Take your time through the 5K to play with the shelter dogs, and discover their true personalities behind profile pictures. The more dogs you pet, the more money you raise for local animal shelters. It’s not about adoption, but simply hanging out with these awesome dogs, so everyone is welcome! 

Canno 5K is aiming to turn around the stigma people have around adoptable dogs of certain color, age, size, or breed, and foster meaningful relationships. Participants would go through interactive booths accompanied by shelter dogs throughout the 5K, and be invited to make a change whether it’s raising awareness within the communities or going through with an adoption.

MYSTRO

MYSTRO is an intelligent conversational user interface that can help anyone reach their musical goals. From extensive researching and user testing, we created a music coach that was adaptable to any type of learner, encouraging to the aspiring musician and could constantly assess the student on their musical accuracy.

Revive

Humans make a lot of stuff. Consequently, they also throw away a lot of stuff. For ten weeks, we explored the life cycle of an object. We began to research the social and economic factors that contribute to object accumulation in young adults and it led us to Revive.

Revive is a digital platform that promotes neighborhood-based freecycling. Freecycling is the act of giving away usable unwanted items to others. The concept of freecycling is gaining popularity, but lacks refinement and designated platforms. Revive provides that platform, and takes the repurposing one step further by not only preventing objects from going to the landfill, but inspires users to part with static objects in their lives to help others.

Unfold

Unfold is an application that aims to help everyone, regardless of their needs, be able to find events. Unfold connects users to events happening in their neighborhood using a personalized recommendation system and also clearly communicates accessibility accommodations at events to create a sense of equality.
