Calendar & Modules

Course Modules: 12345678910

(Please read the notes and follow the instructions they give, then delete them.

Personalize this schedule for your class - you do NOT have to use a 10-module schedule.  Adjust the numbers as needed for your content.  Change the dates as necessary.

Students appreciate seeing all their major assignments in one place.  Please list the due date and title of each major assignment in the module it is due, as modeled below.

If you are so inclined, create a visual calendar of module start and stop dates as well as assignment due dates using Publisher or Outlook and link it where appropriate on this or other pages.  You may also consider plotting important dates on a shared Google calendar, which can then be embedded in this page using these instructions (PDF). Contact your Online Learning Administrator for additional assistance with instructions for creating a visual calendar.)

This page lists the course progression in chronological order.

Online Schedule

(The amount of time needed for completion of a module and the number of modules in a course should be based on the number of topics you cover and your pedagogical style.  You do not need to dissect your course into 10, week-long modules to fit the number of weeks in a quarter.  Your course may be divided into 3, 4, 5 or more modules of varying lengths depending on how much related content is involved and how much time students need to absorb it and complete various assessments based on it.  The module schedule below is created to allow for the maximum (we hope) number of modules that might be part of a course so that one only has to remove unnecessary content - not add additional links and descriptions.)
