Brenda has been with the Ginger group since 2023 as the Research Coordinator and Operations Manager for both the Ginger Lab and IMOD STC (Center for Integration of Modern Optoelectronic Materials on Demand). She earned her B.S in Biology from the University of Washington in 2019, and then spent several years working in the medical field before returning to UW in her current role. Brenda is very passionate about science and STEM education and enjoys supporting students of all ages, both behind the scenes and through direct engagement. In her free time, she loves staying active and spending time outdoors, whether skiing, hiking, golf, or playing tennis.
