Collaborations and Research Centers

Our lab actively collaborates with a variety of leading research centers and initiatives to advance the frontiers of optoelectronics, materials science, and clean energy. Through these partnerships, we integrate experimental, theoretical, and computational approaches to address complex scientific challenges.
Clean Energy Institute (CEI)
CEI accelerates scalable, equitable clean energy technologies. Research focuses on high-efficiency solar cells using hybrid perovskites, printable electronics, and electronic polymers, as well as grid integration and advanced battery materials. Learn more at the CEI website.

Center for the Science of Synthesis Across Scales (CSSAS)
Funded by the Department of Energy, CSSAS designs high-information-content building blocks that self-assemble into responsive, reconfigurable, and self-healing materials. Research includes machine learning for nanoparticle analysis and exciton–photon interactions in 2D perovskites. CSSAS operates in partnership with multiple national laboratories and universities.
