Parashar Khadka, BPH, is a second-year MPH student in the Cardiometabolic Research and Training Program at the UW, funded by the Fogarty International Training Center. He is a public health researcher from Nepal, who worked as a research coordinator at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital, Kavre, Nepal. Mr. Khadka has five years of work experience in diabetes and hypertension prevention research at the Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Nepal. He was actively involved in several health research activities such as digital/non-digital data acquisition and management and executing a non-communicable disease-based nutritional behavioral intervention program in Nepal. His thesis research will focus on the prevalence of Rose Angina Pectoris and its associated factors in Nepal. Mr. Khadka is working under the mentorship of Dr. Annette Fitzpatrick (UW), Dr. Biraj Karmacharya (KU), and Dr. Archana Shrestha (KU).
