National AIDS & STI Control Programme (NASCOP)

NASCOP is a world-class Technical Institution of Excellence in STI and HIV Programming. NASCOP’s mission is to prevent HIV/STI infections and improve quality of life for those infected and affected by providing strategic information, developing policies, guidelines, coordination of partners, provision of quality HIV/STI services in order to mitigate the socioeconomic impact of HIV/STI in Kenya.

Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI)

The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a state corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013 as the national body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya. KEMRI has grown from its humble beginning over 40 years ago to become a regional leader in human health research.
The Institute currently ranks as one of the leading Centres of excellence in health research both in Africa as well as globally.

Fogarty International Center, National Institutes of Health

Fogarty is dedicated to advancing the NIH mission by supporting and facilitating global health research conducted by U.S. and international investigators, building partnerships between health research institutions in the U.S. and abroad, and training the next generation of scientists to address global health needs.

Kenya Research and Training Center (KRTC)

The Kenya Research and Training Center brings University of Washington faculty, students and researchers together to support research that improves health and informs policy in Kenya and other resource-limited settings across the globe. We aspire to improve health in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa through high quality mentoring, rigorous scientific research and strong collaborations.
