Pramita Shrestha, MPH

UW Department of Epidemiology/PhD

Pramita Shrestha, MPH, is a second year PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology. She is in the Cardiometabolic Research and Training Program at the University of Washington (UW), funded by the Fogarty International Center. She has worked at the Dhulikhel Hospital- Kathmandu University Hospital in Nepal and was a lecturer for MPH students in the Department of Public Health at the Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences. Ms. Shrestha has more than a decade of experience working with the rural and unreached community in Nepal and has led community development and public health programs in the Department of Community and Public Health Programs. Ms. Shrestha’s PhD research project is in in development. Her primary mentors are Dr. Annette Fitzpatrick (UW), Dr. Biraj Karmacharya (KU), and Dr. Archana Shrestha (KU).
