Dr. Shradha Doshi, MBChB, MMed, is an MPH student in the Cardiometabolic Research and Training Program at the UW, funded by the Fogarty International Training Center. Dr. Doshi is a consultant physician who currently practices clinical medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Her research interests include the use of cardiovascular biomarkers as diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive markers in heart failure. Dr. Doshi’s thesis research will include an assessment of the association of renal impairment with coronary artery disease phenotypes and plaque parameters among persons living with HIV in Uganda. Her primary mentors are Dr. Chris Longenecker (UW), Dr. Carey Farquhar (UW), Dr. Annette Fitzpatrick (UW) and Dr. Alfred Osoti (UoN), and she is scheduled to graduate in August 2023.
