Aerosol Science

Aerosol science is the study of aerosols in multiple disciplines, including physics, chemistry, and engineering. The goal is to conduct basic research geared towards the development of low-cost sensors for the detection and analysis of particulate matter.

Fluid Mechanics

Fluid mechanics is the study of fluids at rest and in motion.

Electrohydrodynamics, commonly known as EHD, is the study of the flow of electrically charged particles or plasma. Focusing on plasma actuators, our research explores the application of plasma actuators for active flow control.

Supercritical Fluids

A supercritical fluid (SCF) is any substance at a temperature and pressure above its critical point, where distinct liquid and gas phases do not exist, but below the pressure required to compress it into a solid.
