Makenna is a first-year Master of Library and Information Science student. They received their B.A. in History with a focus in Empire and Colonialism from UW. Their particular areas of interest are in the early modern Atlantic World, and they are passionate about information justice and reconstructing archival absences from histories of empire. In their free time, they enjoy reading fiction and watching their favorite sitcoms.
