Yasmine is a PhD candidate in the School of Environment and Forest Sciences; her dissertation focuses on the impacts of diet variability, parasitism, and urban pollutants on wildlife populations (coyotes, raccoons, and river otters) in the Seattle-Tacoma region. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Wildlife Ecology and Management. In her spare time, Yasmine enjoys reading fiction, creating messes in the kitchen, and recreating in the mountains.
