- Wei et al. retrospectively summarize a series of clinical laboratory tests on serum from 252 COVID-19 patients in a cancer center in China, including metabolic panels and a set of 13 cancer biomarkers. The authors conclude that elevations of serum cancer biomarkers positively correlated with the pathological progressions of COVID-19, including diffuse and acute lung injuries.
