A serological study of specimens from 104 people who survived severe COVID-19 infections demonstrated that neutralizing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 persisted for at least six months. Researchers also found that although IgG levels among severe COVID-19 patients at the convalescent phase were generally lower compared to those at the acute phase, the antibodies in serum from more than 95% of patients were still able to neutralize SARS-CoV-2.
