Good Afternoon!

We have recently added two new Inspiring Stories to the AAMC’s web site. In these stories, medical students, residents, and practicing physicians talk about the paths that led to them to medical school and a career in medicine. One recent story features a current resident, who describes her recovery from a spinal cord injury at sixteen months of age and how that led to a desire to practice medicine. In the other recent piece, a student recounts how she was inspired by her theatre and arts experiences to pursue a career working with patients.
