Global Architecture Brigade

to build a healthcare clinic in Honduras this summer!

We will be working in the rural community of El Canton from June 12-19, 2012. The people in this community have to walk more than two hours away to the nearest healthcare clinic. Global Brigades has been working with the government to ensure the sustainability of the clinic.

Come work side-by-side with community members, meet the people of El Canton, and learn about sustainable development and global health.

Speaking Spanish is not mandatory, and translators will be provided during the brigade.

This is a new organization on campus so you will have a chance to shape it to your vision.

Architecture Brigades is a program of the international nonprofit, http://www.globalbrigades.org/ Global Brigades, the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. In 2010, more than 4,000 volunteers from 160 GB university chapters in North America and Europe traveled to provide health and economic development solutions to more than 50,000 beneficiaries through our teams in Panama and Honduras.
