We are encouraging students from all disciplines (premed, predent, prenursing, prepharm, pre-pt, pre-opt, etc.) as well as all backgrounds! Please remember that the requirements for running for office are that you must be a paid MAPS member, and that you must have attended at least 3 events (including conference and Affair) per quarter. The positions this year are below and the document attached includes position descriptions. Elections will be considered in a two step process where nominees will be interviewed by current senior officers and current officers of the sought position. After narrowing nominees to two top candidates per position, then the MAPS general public will vote between the two candidates of each position and majority will choose the succeeding officer for 2011-2012.
