Want to volunteer abroad for FREE? Omprakash Info Session 2/21 @ 12:30!

Volunteer Abroad for FREE with Omprakash.org! Tuesday, February 21st 12:30-1:20pm Thomson Hall 317

Omprakash.org connects volunteers with grassroots health, education, and environmental projects around the world. We facilitate communication, collaboration, and mutual learning within a diverse international network of grassroots projects. Our free database of global Partners can empower you to volunteer abroad, advocate at home, or enrich your school’s academic curriculum and service-learning programs. We offer volunteer grants to help qualified applicants build lasting relationships with our outstanding Partners, and we enable these Partners to receive tax-deductible donations from their dedicated supporters. The Omprakash network currently supports over 157 Partner non-profits in over 35 countries spanning the globe. In 2011 alone, our Volunteer Grant program has provided over $30,000 to qualified recipients, enabling them to build lasting relationships with our amazing Partners around the world!

We invite health, educational, and environmental projects seeking a global audience to join us as Partners. Our network is open to everyone from prospective volunteers to donors, fundraisers, students, and educators looking to enrich their global curricula.

Don’t have time to travel abroad, but want to offer your skills to a project in need? We can help! Many of our Partners seek online assistance from volunteers with backgrounds in law, fundraising, business consulting, and more.
