Penn’s renowned program broadens and enriches academic preparation for professional school curricula via two unique pathways. Pre-Health Core Studies, for students with little or no previous coursework in the sciences, provides basic courses in chemistry, biology physics, and organic chemistry. Pre-Health Specialized Studies offers students with some scientific background the opportunity to bolster their academic credentials and update their knowledge of more advanced topics in the biomedical sciences.
