CFHI Announces Scholarships & New 2-Week Program for 2011
Ten scholarships will be awarded toward any CFHI Program running during the months of August through December 2011. Scholarships are some of CFHI’s biggest yet, US$1,000 each. There will be two special designated scholarships going towards participation in CFHI’s Ophthalmology Program- Sight for All in New Delhi, India, and CFHI’s Dental Program- Sonrie Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. Deadline to apply for scholarships is May 1, 2011.
Two-week Program.. For students interested in CFHI but cannot participate for a normal 4-week program, CFHI is now offering a 2-week Urban Primary Care in Oaxaca, Mexico Program this June. Read more about this unique program on CFHI’s blog.

CFHI has been around for almost 20 years providing global health service-learning programs. As a nonprofit, CFHI structures its programs so funds and resources are funneled back into local communities, resulting in a sustainable and socially responsible program model. CFHI encourages applying early as all applications are processed on a rolling basis and programs are filling for 2011.
