People With Convictions

“PEOPLE WITH CONVICTIONS”

Last quarter two very different groups of people embarked on a journey that would take them across social barriers and allow them to forge new friendships. Now, the Post-Prison Education students and the UW Honors students invite you to join them.

On *April 11th at 7:00PM in Kane 120*, the Post-Prison Community Collaboration Project http://ppccp.weebly.com/ begins its official work promoting awareness of the issues in our criminal justice system. Through a performance by the *theater *troupe, Insurgent Theatre http://insurgenttheatre.org/, a *dance *performance by a local Samoan dance group http://www.kagaka.com/, and *presentations *by people actively involved in addressing these issues, they hope to bring to you not only a worthy cause but a message about humanity that transcends cultural, legal, social, and historical boundaries.

Join them, and be informed, indignant, enraged, inspired, and altered.
