I am writing on behalf of Dr. Sharon Akabas, the Director of the MS program at Columbia University’s Institute of Human Nutrition. Our one-year program prepares pre- medical, dental and public health students to integrate nutrition into their work as health professionals. Please forward the informational email below to students who seek a challenging gap year or a special masters program that will strengthen their basic science knowledge, provide them an opportunity to complete an MS thesis, and develop strong communication skills. Note that we are accepting applications for the Fall 2012 entering MS class until July 15th.
