Want to help decrease life threatening diseases in under resourced communities? Would you like to travel to beautiful Central America for a week in the summer? Join University of Washington’s Public Health Brigade to Honduras, June 11-18 to help families improve their home infrastructure to combat diseases. During the one week brigade, students have the opportunity to work side-by-side with families to build eco-stoves, latrines, concrete floors, and water storage units. Speaking Spanish is not mandatory and translators will be provided during brigade. The application deadline has been extended to November 30th at 11pm.
