Death with Dignity Film

The Seattle International Film Festival begins tomorrow! One of the films showing is How to Die in Oregon, a locally-inspired film about the Death with Dignity Act passed a few years ago in Oregon and how one woman chose to participate in physician-assisted suicide after a long battle with liver cancer. For those of you who are interested in the ethics of helping patients live and die peaceably, this would great [fun!] opportunity for you to hear a patient’s perspective. The film is showing at three different venues in the greater Seattle area this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
