The Roatan Volunteer Pediatric Clinic (rvpc.globalhealing.org), is offering an opportunity for 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students to volunteer from 1-3 months at a time in conjunction with pediatric attendings and residents at to gain valuable international development and clinical experience abroad at their Clinic Esperanza pediatric clinic. The program has been in operation since 2004 and has had dozens of volunteers from across the United States.
They have openings throughout the year and are in need of the fall/winter months. Interns are able to suggest their own preferred dates (minimum of 4 weeks at a time, but there may be shorter options if requested).
Expectations:
- Responsive to emails
- Efficient in obtaining passport, Visa, and other travel accommodations
- Working fluency in Spanish
