- Monitor blood donor safety following their blood donation by observing donors for adverse reactions.
- Serve refreshments necessary for the replacement of vital bodily fluids
- Maintain a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for donors.

- On-campus volunteer opportunities (10-12 blood drives on campus each month)

Steps to volunteering
- Print out a volunteer application and reference forms at http://www.bloodworksnw.org/volunteers/index.htm
- Contact the volunteer coordinator to set up an orientation (takes about 1 hour)
