Conference Venue

The conference will take place in the Communications building on the UW campus (click for map, walking directions from the Watertown Hotel). The registration will be in Room 206 and the talks will be in Rooms 120 and 226.

Airport

The closest airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

Options for airport transportation to the University: (All hotels are close to the University, though not all on the same side of campus. Directions are to the corner of 15th Ave NE and NE Campus Parkway, which is on the West side of campus.)

  • Link light rail + bus: Take Link Light Rail to Westlake Station, transfer to 70, 71, 72, 73, or 271 and possibly others going to the University District. (King County Metro public transit site.)
  • Shuttle Express has scheduled service to several of the hotels below. Reservations from the airport are recommended. Reservations to the airport are required. $19 one way.
  • Driving: 25-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Not all rental car companies are directly at the airport.
  • Cabs cost $50-$60.
