Sociophonetic Analysis

Central to the laboratory's mission is the elicitation of speech in both laboratory and naturalistic settings. Below are lab-member developed tools (unless otherwise stated) for acoustic analysis, between- and within-speaker normalization, and visualization of acoustic properties of speech.

Language Regard

Tools for the study of language regard (including language attitudes and ideology) and perception of dialect differences.

Online Corpora and the Laboratory Library
