A 75 year old with bilateral leg cramping

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
4.) What is the clinical significance of rest pain? What are other findings that predict limb loss?

Patients with rest pain are at risk for limb loss. Other findings that predict limb loss are tissue loss, dependent rubor, and short distance claudication. Tissue loss is the best clinical predictor of limb loss.
