LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  1. Be able to list causes of enterocutaneous fistulas.
  2. Be able to list factors which prevent spontaneous closure of these fistulas.
  3. Be able to discuss the various aspects of non-operative management of these fistulas.
  4. Be able to describe the diagnostic evaluation of these fistulas.
  5. Be able to state the ideal surgical management of these fistulas which do not close spontaneously.
