Gabrielle O’Malley

Dr. Gabrielle O’Malley is a social scientist who has worked as an applied research and evaluation professional for over 25 years. She’s conducted  research and led implementation of a wide variety of international and domestic programs including behavioral health interventions to support HIV prevention and treatment, medical education training programs, community technology, reproductive health, economic support programs for low income communities, as well as applied research for private industry. Dr. O’Malley is trained as a medical anthropologist and specializes in qualitative methods. She is an associate director of the BIRCH Developmental Core, the Vice-Chair of the UW Department of Global Health, and the I-TECH Director for Implementation Science.
