Susan Graham

Director

Susan M. Graham, MD MPH PhD, is a Professor in Global Health and Medicine and an Adjunct Professor in Epidemiology. Dr. Graham is also the Associate Chair for Academic Programs in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington.

Dr. Graham is trained as a clinical epidemiologist and also has expertise in behavioral health interventions. She conducts research on HIV prevention and care in the United States and in Kenya. She is a board-certified infectious diseases physician who sees patients at the UW Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and the Madison Clinic Satellite in Olympia.

Dr. Graham earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and her MD from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She holds an MPH in Health Services from Boston University and a PhD in clinical epidemiology from the University of Toronto. Dr. Graham was an intern and resident in internal medicine at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
