RESPONSIBLE AUTHORSHIP AND PUBLICATION  --  DISCUSSION GROUP INFORMATION

Materials for the discussion group are linked at the bottom of this page. (OPEN & READ THE LINKS).  Please review the questions and articles prior to the group discussion.

Thank you for enrolling in our Biomedical Research Integrity Series.  We hope that you find this series helpful. Group discussions are designed not necessarily to provide answers, rather to provide you with useful tools. This page contains important information and links. Room assignments have been made for the BRI discussion groups.  Your room assignment, date and time were emailed to you.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. You will receive credit only for attending the discussion group(s) for which you have pre-registered. It is important that you attend the discussion group in the room in which you are assigned.  Attendees are posted outside each door – make sure you are in the correct room to sign-in.
  2. Groups usually fill quickly. If you do not attend the group you signed up for, you must request to be rescheduled as the program locks your selection within 72 hours of your scheduled group.DO NOT attempt to reschedule your self by dropping any registration - this would delete other parts of your registration/attendace record.
  3. If you don't show up, an email will be sent to you and your PI/department. Our Group Leaders volunteer their time and no-shows adversely affect the group dynamic. Please be on time for the discussion group. No trainees will be admitted more than 10 minutes after the group starts. If you can't stay for the entire hour, consider rescheduling to a date when you can commit to the full hour.
  4. The School of Medicine values professionalism. Please review the "Rules of the Road"
  5. Discussion group conversations are CONFIDENTIAL.
