Activity Group Lead for Elders and Adults with Disabilities (Everett or South Seattle) (Interview Required)
Full Life Care is a not-for-profit organization enhancing the quality of life for elders and adults with disabilities, regardless of income. We are looking for students who can help assist and lead activity groups, supporting adult day health program participants engaging in educational, therapeutic, and recreational group activities, which promote their physical, cognitive, and social/emotional health and well-being.
In-person volunteering is available at our South Seattle (Beacon Hill) Adult Day Health Center OR Everett Adult Day Health Center. Some hours may be completed virtually, if needed, for planning time, research, etc.
You will support and/or design and lead group activities (for which examples include, but are not limited to, arts and craft workshops, trivia games, and show-and-tell), in addition to initiating friendly conversation with participants. By offering individualized outreach to clients, you will help honor this non-profit’s fundamental values of addressing the whole person and support our mission to respect the dignity of our participants and provide for them with care and compassion.
