Civic Leader Summer Stipend: Washington Campus Coalition
Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good Civic Leader Stipend can provide 2-5 awards to UW Bothell undergraduate students participating in a structured project over the summer. This award is managed by Connected Learning. The application can be completed by either the UW Bothell mentor or the student.
Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good is committed to advancing the public purpose of colleges and universities, educating students for the workforce and civic leadership, and working in partnership to cultivate vital and sustainable communities. Purpose:
Provide funding for outstanding student leaders who will address one or more issues impacting campuses
and/or communities. Issues may include:
- K-16 Student Success
- Food and Housing Insecurity
- Medical and Mental Health
- School-to-Prison Pipeline, Restorative Justice, and/or Transition from Incarceration
- K-16 Civic Education/Engagement
- Environmental Stewardship and/or Environmental Justice
For 2023, applications are due May 26, 2023. Applications can be submitted after May 26, but awards will be issued on a first-come basis and depending on the remaining funds available.
