Whale Scout “Helpin’ Out” Volunteer Events

Whale Scout “Helpin’ Out” Volunteer Events

Join Whale Scout in restoring salmon habitat to help save endangered Southern Resident killer whales! Through hands-on “Helpin’ Out” events held year-round across the Puget Sound region, volunteers plant native trees, remove invasive species, and improve streams where Chinook salmon—orca food—live and spawn. Events are open to the public, take place on both public and private lands, and all tools are provided. No experience needed—just a willingness to get your hands dirty for a good cause! See website for more information.
