UW Autism Center Commemorates 15 Years of Service & Research

 

The University of Washington Autism Center is part of the Center on Human Development and Disabibility (CHDD). It is a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorders through clinical services, scientific research and high-quality training. The UW Autism Center incorporates faculty and staff from the UW School of Medicine, College of Arts & Sciences, and College of Education. The center has many research focuses including improving early diagnosis of autism and related disorders, understanding the neurobiological basis of autism, and providing clinical services and resources to serve the Washington State community.

The UW Autism Center will be hosting an open house Thursday, April 30 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Portage Bay Building (see map).
