FareStart Product Drive- HSB Lobby- November 11-December 4

In response to faculty and staff’s interest in helping end poverty and homelessness, The Whole U has partnered with FareStart, a culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Since 1992, this nonprofit has provided opportunities for nearly 7,000 people to transform their lives, while also serving over six million meals to disadvantaged people.

Throughout the year, the UW community has dined at FareStart to support its mission, volunteered as servers to help fund its programs and prepared meals to go to food shelters. We’d like to end this great year of giving with a product drive for FareStart’s students. We’ll be collecting clothing, personal everyday items and student holiday gifts.

We will be collecting gifts from Monday, November 30 to Friday, December 4, at the HS Lobby (3rd floor C-wing)
