The Seattle Channel is seeking an undergraduate web production intern to work with its web team, communication manager and program producers to help coordinate Seattle Channel’s online efforts. The intern will assist with social media posts, update content in the city’s content management system and optimize image files for use on the web and print. The intern will also help research emerging technologies to enhance the online experience. Educational benefit to student: Applied experience in web design and development along with outreach strategies, including social media. The intern will also gain a broader understanding of the public sector and the inner workings of municipal government as well as exposure to TV production. |

Start/End Dates: Internship will start late September/early October, 2016 and end June, 2017.
