SUMMARY

Looking for an energetic, passionate, fun, outgoing, and hardworking person for a summer tech crew position working outdoor movie events throughout the Pacific Northwest.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

An Epic Events Tech Crew member is responsible, committed, and able to do heavy lifting for equipment setups and maintaining event grounds. The Tech Crew sets-up and tests equipment in an efficient and timely manner, including: large inflatable screens, sound systems, projection equipment, generators/power, and other miscellaneous event equipment. Tech Crew supports the Host/MC during the event for announcements in addition to operation of sound and video systems for show run. Tech Crew is otherwise supporting vendors and sponsors throughout event or as needed during event placement and strike, maintaining fence line and event security, and managing garbage and recycling during the event. Tear down all systems and return to Seattle at the end of the each night. Requires travel, some overnight.

SCHEDULE

Our calendar is summer-focused with trainings and PT work from May through June, then FT in July & August, with events thinning out again in September. Most events happen Wednesdays through Saturdays. Event times include driving to show site and generally set-up in early or mid afternoon, running through late nights. Overnight and travel is a part of this position, with day rates and per diems applied.
