Window display paid intern – Coopers Optique

Are you an aspiring marketing student looking for an opportunity to kick start your career? If you are ambitious, proactive, creative, and highly motivated, willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, we have the perfect adventure for you!

We are looking for a highly- energetic and aspiring marketing intern to help maintain a strong, vibrant, eye- catching window display that will rotate monthly.

A little bit about the location: Being a brand-new store directly across from the Key Arena, your creative displays will be seen by a large number of people. With this opportunity your work is sure to be seen, noticed, and asked about. The store is a high-end eyewear fashion store! With lines from all over the world, and lines that are unique to the area! Our store is set about 3 feet into the ground, so looking on from the street you look down into the store! With 1200 square feet and over 125 feet in length and 15 feet in height of windows, we want to really catch the attention of someone driving and/or walking by!

A little bit about the project: To keep the attention of the community we are aiming to have our displays changed by the 1st business day of each month. Focusing on themes (I.E. Gay Pride, festivals at the Seattle Center etc.).  Our window displays won’t just be simple window decals, we are looking for attention-grabbing, show stopping displays. Utilizing cable suspended glass shelving at eye level from the street, we are wanting to find ways to truly speak to the community. Incorporating physical eyeglasses and sunglasses, and being across from the Key Arena and Seattle center there is always events happening that we can feed off!

This project will start in April or May of 2020 once the store opens, but internship would begin February so we can begin brainstorming ideas!

This is a paid internship, pay will be discussed upon the time of interviewing. We will supply funds for materials, and supplies needed (budget approved), and you will be able to photograph your projects to use towards your portfolio.

If this sounds like something that might be up your alley, please contact me!
